1. General terms

www.bikestocks.uk and www.bikestocks.com is a site operated by Bike & Fitness SL, a limited company registered in Spain. We sell bicycles and bicycle equipment, clothing and accessories. All terms are valid between Bike & Fitness SL and our clients that purchase on this website. By placing an order and/or making a customer account you accept all our terms and conditions of your purchase. We reserve the right to amend technical or clerical errors in any order without notice. In addition, you shall ensure that all details contained within the order are correct and we shall not accept any liability for any error or inaccuracy in any order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish Law and industry custom and practice.

We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these terms and conditions may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.

The text and photos and design of this website are under the right of intellectual property of Bike & Fitness SL and cannot be used for whatever purpose without a written permission. 

2. How to place an order

You are able to place an order with the following:

  • On our website (24h/day all year around).
  • You can place an order with contacting our customer service and telephone during our opening hours.  

After placing an order, you will receive an email once the order has been accepted in our system. This email will consist of information with all relevant details of your order. Separately you will receive an email from our delivery partner with tracking information of your order. 

We reserve the right to cancel your purchase if we have insufficient stock of the product you have ordered, the delivery service provider does not deliver to your area, error in pricing or we suspect risk of fraudulent transaction. Should we cancel your purchase, you will get a notification by email and we will reimburse your purchase as soon as possible. 

3. Technical parameters of our products

We have information of the products we sell on our website through technical descriptions from manufacturers and distributors. The work related to update any product information comes in some cases from official catalogues and websites. In some cases the products descriptions can change without any warning. Bikestocks or Bike & Fitness SL is under no circumstances responsible for mistakes, changes or lack of information in the product description or the products. Should you as client need any further description of the products from the website you can contact our customer service that will help you further. 

4. Our prices

All our prices in the website are in Euros and include VAT and in some cases transport, depending on the value of your purchase and placement. We reserve the right to modify the prices in any moment, but the prices that are shown on the website when you place your order are the valid ones. If you would like to ask for a group or bulk discount and orders please contact our customer service and we will draw up an offer. Should you be outside the EU and will export from Spain we can exclude the VAT in your invoice. Please contact our customer service before placing your order should this be the case and we will arrange this including transport. 

5. Availability of our products

All orders are assembled each week day and are shipped from our warehouse at 13 pm CET. It takes approximately 3-6 weekdays for each package to be received by our clients. This depends on where in Europe the shipment will be sent. Bikestocks works with SEUR/ASM and local postal distributors in respective countries and as soon as your order is sent from our warehouse, you will receive an email for your information. 

If one of our products is not available we will inform you on the website when it is expected to be in stock. Note that the dates are assumed with information from the manufacturers. If one of your ordered products is not in stock we will inform you with an e-mail the availability or alternatives. If you wish to cancel your order due to more waiting time than you expected, we will ensure you will get a full refund. 

We always strive to have all products available in stock but there could be moments in time where this is not possible. We work very hard to ensure that all orders are shipped from our warehouse as soon as possible. Please note that Bike & Fitness SL is be no means responsible with delays from our delivery partners.  

6. Shipment

We ship all products internationally using SEUR/ASM and local postal service in respective countries. 

If your product purchase exceeds 99EUR we ship your products for free to the following European countries: 

Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Denmark, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden & The United Kingdom. 

When you have placed your order, you will receive en email with confirmation of your purchase together with an email that contains a track & trace number from SEUR/ASM, where you can follow your order. Should you not be able to view your order or shipment then please contact our customer service and we will help you. Please check if the emails have been sent to your spam folder. 

All bicycles are 100% revised by our bike mechanics before shipment including gears and brakes together with other parts. You simply need to attach the front wheel, the pedals and seat and turn the steering wheel before you start using the bicycle. 

All the products are insured for damages during shipment for safe delivery for our clients. It is therefore important you contact us immediately should the delivered package not be in perfect state upon delivery, and latest 24 hours. 

We ship all the products from Spain and therefore deliveries to some countries may be subject to customs, legal, regulatory and other restrictions. It is your responsibility to pay any additional taxes or fees to the local customs for product release upon arrival to your country. Please make sure that you enter the correct delivery address to avoid any delays. If you fail or refuse to pay these charges then you are held responsible. In the event that the products are returned to us from the local customs without any charge to us we will refund the whole purchase price from the website. In the event that the goods are returned to us but a delivery charge is levied on us, we will refund you the difference. It is possible that the goods will not be returned to us, in which case no refund of the purchase price will be given to you. In any event, goods that are returned due to you refusing or failing to pay any of the charges outlined in this paragraph will not be entitled to a refund of the delivery charge.

7. Payments

You can pay with your credit card (VISA/Mastercard/American Express) or through PayPal or with a wire transfer. The payment methods will appear when you check out after confirming you agree to our general terms and conditions for your purchase. Bikestocks is not responsible for currency exchange to EUR.

8. Returns

If you have noticed that your product(s) has a defect please contact our customer service agents through the contact form and wait for a reply. We strive to answer all requests within 24 hours. Please make sure to send through your order number and invoice.

If you are not happy with your ordered bike you are welcome to return it to us for a refund as long as it is still new and un-ridden up to 30 days from your purchase. Please let us know within 30 days and we will arrange the return with you. If you would like to return your bike within the 30 day period, you will need to cover the shipment cost of returning the bike together with ensuring secure packaging for transit in the original packaging. We recommend you keep the box the bike comes in should you want to request returns at any point. 

You have 30 days to return the product if you have changed your mind with your order provided the product is in unused condition that you received it and in the original box and packaging. The returned product must also include all accessories, manuals etc. that was a part of the original packaging. The original packaging cannot neither be damaged and must include all original stickers and labelling. Should these conditions not be met you will lose your right to return the product.

9. Guarantees

Most products sold on our website have a minimum guarantee from the manufacturer of two years which protects you as a client to any defect from fabrication. 

If you as a client suspect a defect in your purchased product from our website then you need contact customer service with a description and photos of the product and the possible defect. Depending on the brand and the type of problem we will inform you of the next steps. If the product cannot be analyzed in your home country we will do so in our own workshop. You as a client need to cover any cost and risk of transporting the product to us but if we and the manufacturer acknowledge the suspected defect we will reimburse you any cost related to your purchase. Remember all receipts for transportation and other costs. 

Any guarantee is immediately cancelled in case of damages from accidents, wear and tear, bad maintenance, bad installation and use that is not in correlation with the procedures of the manufacturer. This also applies if the client or another person that is not certified by the manufacturer has done the maintenance of the product. Under all circumstances Bike&Fitness S.L. is not responsible or reliable if the manufacturer denies to cover the guaranty for any reason. 

10. Responsibility

Bikestocks or BIKE & Fitness SL is not responsible for any consequences of misuse or wrong use of products that are sold on the website. Under no circumstances we are responsible for loss or damage related with using this website or its products. The clients of this website cannot sue the company for any reason. Furthermore, we shall accept no liability for death or personal injury, caused by clients own negligence.

Bikestocks or BIKE & Fitness SL shall be compensated with damages that happen due to breaking these policies or the use of the website without written permission. This means all text, pictures, and any other website design. 

Any advice given by our service agents or servants during telephone/Internet orders is based entirely upon information provided by you. Where advice is given after visual inspection by our agents or servants, such advice shall amount to an opinion only and we shall not accept liability for any inaccuracies.

We accept no liability in respect of any failure to deliver your order or any delay in doing so that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, accidents or actions by third parties.

11. Remember to write down and store in a safe place the serial number of your bicycle in the case it gets be stolen or lost for insurance issues. Note that in some countries in Europe (e.g. Denmark) your insurance company requires a country specific serial number. You as importer of the bike to your country are responsible to retrieve this serial number with the local authorities and register with your insurance company. We encourage you as a client to research with your insurance company which steps to take to ensure your products are covered.
